Password
Change it from your account whenever you want. When you change it,your other sessions are closed as a precaution; you stay logged in on the device where you changed it. Use a unique password, 10 characters or more, that you do not reuse on other sites.
Two-step verification
It is the best protection available and it turns on in a couple of minutes:
- Go to your account and look for the two-step verification section.
- Scan the QR code with your code app (Google Authenticator, Authy or similar) or save the manual key.
- Enter the six-digit code the app shows to confirm.
- Save your backup codes in a safe place: each one works only once if you lose your phone.
From that moment on, when you log in it will ask for your password and the app code. You can turn it off or regenerate the backup codes whenever you want, always with your password.
Active sessions
In your account you see the list of devices where your session is open, with their last activity and a badge for the current device. You can close an individual session or close all the others with one click.
If you lose access
- Forgot your password? There is no automatic email recovery today; use a password manager and, if you lose access, write to support from your account's email (below).
- Lost the phone with two-step verification? Use one of your backup codes.
- No backup codes? Write to us at soporte@echidnai.com from your account's email. We will ask for details that prove the account is yours and help you recover it.
Good habits
- Never share your verification codes with anyone, not even with us: we will never ask you for them.
- Review your active sessions from time to time.
- On shared computers, log out when you finish.
