What we store and what we do not

| Your conversations | They live in your space so you can come back to them. They are not used for training, not sold, and you can delete them whenever you want from your account. |
| Your file attachments | They are used while you work and purged automatically within 24 hours. If you want to keep them longer, that will be your choice (never an imposition). |
| Usage logs | Only the minimum needed to operate and protect the service (for example, failed sign-in attempts). There is no advertising tracking. |
| Technical backups | Encrypted backups exist for a limited time so the operation is not lost after a failure. We confess them here because we believe transparency also applies to the uncomfortable parts. |
Where do your requests travel?
Echidna works as a proxy: your requests travel only to model providers with zero-retention policies (ZDR), located mostly in China and the United States. We cannot audit the inside of external providers, but we demand and choose those that declare they do not store your data; our own compliance is guaranteed because it is our design.
Web search goes out over our own private network, not through third-party services that track you.
Automatic cleanup
Our infrastructure runs daily cleanups. Files are used during inference and retrieved dynamically as needed, and they are permanently deleted from our servers. In short: we do not store your files, but the context needed to serve you.
Your controls
- Download my data: generate a readable copy of your conversations and your memory in a compressed file.
- Delete all conversations: real deletion, not hiding.
- Delete my account: immediate purge of your account, your space and your data.
- Sessions and security: review your active sessions, close the ones you do not recognize and turn on two-step verification.
Minors
Echidna is not directed at children under 13. If we detect a minor's account, we deactivate it and purge its data.
Changes to this policy
The core promise (no training, no selling data, purge and control for you) does not change. If any operational detail changes, it will be published here with a date, in plain language.
