1. Create your account
Go to chat.echidnai.com and sign up with your email and a password of at least 10 characters. If you want, add your name: Echidna will greet you with it.
2. Choose your plan and pay
You will see two plans: Standard (5 USD) and Advanced (50 USD). Payment is made by card on Stripe's secure gateway. When you finish, your account becomes active automatically.
3. Wait for your workspace (just once)
The first time, Echidna prepares your personal workspace: it takes 60 to 90 seconds and happens only once. After that, going in is immediate.
4. Your first message
Write the way you would write to a person: "Help me organize my week", "Summarize this PDF", "Explain integrals to me with an example". You can also attach a file from the clip button.
What you see right after paying
- The "Preparing your workspace" screen: your personal environment is created. It takes 60 to 90 seconds and happens only once in the life of the account.
- When it finishes, you go straight into the chat. From then on, going in is always immediate.
- If you close the page while it is preparing, nothing happens: your workspace keeps getting ready in the background and is there when you come back.
5. Tips worth their weight in gold
- Ask for the format you want: "in a table", "as bullet points", "as a one-page summary".
- If the answer is not what you were looking for, correct it: "shorter", "do it in English", "focus on costs". Echidna remembers the thread.
- For long tasks, let it work: you will see the narration of what it does ("Searched the web", "Read your PDF").
Honest note
While the website is under construction, signup and payment live at the chat address. It is the same product and the same account: there is nothing extra to do.
